Band Spring Trip 2012 to Orlando FL (25-29 Apr 2012)

Parents,

By now you have received either from your student or via email from Mr. Schiffler the spring trip commitment form and schedule. The spring trip to Orlando, FL is schedule for 25 - 29 April. The cost per student is $575. . This includes transportation, lodging, entertainment and meals.

There are spots for 70 students and 6 paying chaperones (3 male and 3 female).

Cost: $575. Checks are to be made payable to OLBPA

The commitment form is attached. The schedule has also been provided to your student.

Urgent -  Hospitality request help.

Our home game meals have been great successes thanks to all those who have helped and/or made donations.

Friday, October 28th is Homecoming and it looks to be a HUGE event as the Princess Anne Middle School and Corporate Landing Middle School Bands and OL Band alumni will be joining us for dinner as well as in the stands!

We will be feeding approximately 200 - 230 people before the game! This is our largest group EVER.

Parents & Students     Ocean Lakes BPA and JMU Gibbons Dining Hall has made arrangements for band students, chaperones, support staff and family to dine in the JMU Gibbons Student Dining Hall.  See attached flyer for details     Cost: $ 9.50 per person (Meal time around 5:00 pm)

Home game October 6th - hospitality‏

Hi, Ocean Lakes Band Parents! Our home game meals have been great successes thanks to all those who have helped and/or made donations. Our next home game is Thursday, October 6th. Dessert is covered this week (again) but if you would like to donate something we could use taco shells and/or flour tortillas. We’re doing “taco night”! You can either send the items in with your student on Thursday morning and they can leave them with Mr. Schiffler OR you can bring them to the school by 4:00 Thursday afternoon.

Dolphin Drop Ticket Sales Update‏

Parents and students: Dolphin Drop fundraiser is in full swing. All students with the exception of one have received their tickets. It appears we have some very skilled salespersons that have already sold their 50 tickets and have obtained additional booklets to sell. We have five weeks to go until the drawing that is to be held on 4 November at the Ocean Lakes Senior Night football game. If you blink it will be here sooner than you know. Thus, in nautical terms, we need “all-hands-on-deck” to help us sell all 5300 tickets and hit our targeted income.
